During the August summer break,  Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group organized a unique study activity for the children of the employees, allowing them to step into their parents’ workplace, gain an in-depth understanding of their parents' working environment and experience the charm of the shipbuilding industry. Nearly 80 employees' children from New Yangzi Shipbuilding, Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding and Yangzi-Mitsui Shipbuilding participated in this activity.

The first impression of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding started from the visit. Led by the staff members, the children entered the exhibition hall, where all kinds of exquisite ship models built by the company were displayed, showing the development history and brilliant achievements of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding.

After visiting the exhibition hall, the children were greeted by the most exciting moment – a site visit. When the children walked to the wharf, they witnessed the launching of a 50000 DWT MR tanker.

In the Shipbuilders’ classroom, professional engineers presented lively and interesting lectures and experiments to the children. From the classification of ships, the construction process to the methods of ship launching , the children listened attentively, occasionally asking questions and interacting with the teachers.

After observing the shipbuilding site and listening to the theory class, the children once again felt the charm of shipbuilding through the hands-on activity of building ship models.

In addition to participating in activities within the company, the children also visited the Zheng He Memorial Hall. There, they learned about the great feat of Zheng He's voyage to the West, and felt the glory of ancient Chinese navigation.
